1980 BMW 528i With Callaway Turbo system Video: https://youtu.be/0uAxcwEU43M (copy and paste) Grey in color, runs and drives well, has a Callaway turbo system that was installed in the 80s and very recently rebuilt. She's much faster than stock... lot of pull. The body is in good condition with no rust to be found. Suspension is tight and rides well, Bilstein/Koni shocks and struts, lowering springs and sway bars have been installed. Brakes work well and don't shake or shudder when stopping. Interior is in good shape considering its age, but still has it’s problems, sheepskin covers hiding some tears in the front seats. I bought this car with the intention of fixing it up a bit... bigger wheels, some suspension work... dialing it in. This car has a lot of potential, and rare with the turbo system that is period correct, and complete. It’s been a fun car to drive (much faster than stock), but time and other project force sale. Great: Original Callaway turbo kit installed including water injection Rebuilt Garrett t-4 turbo (bearings and seals) Boost and oil pressure gauges installed on dash New external waste gate, running 6 psi Pulls strong throughout rpm range Bilstein/Koni shocks and struts Lowering springs Aftermarket sway bars Sunroof Not great: Paint worn (old respray) Work needs to be done on the exhaust (some leaks) Misc. interior bits Window issues, rears work intermittently Door locks intermittently Leather seats have tears Starter misses occasionally That's about it. She's a solid car with a boatload of potential. I'd really like to see her all fixed up but I simply don't have the time to do it myself.
