The bike was disassembled and the unit construction motor and trans was sent to Skinners Triumph, Bsa dealership in Alabama for complete rebuild. The Skinner family is well known and very well respected for engine building of British bikes in he South. The frame was painted and the tank was sent to a respected painter, Bob Myers of Virginia. At the time Myers was considered to be on the level of Don Hutchison for paint work. The restoration took a number of years and was stored in a climate controlled garage during that time.
