1983 Honda Goldwing Standard GL1100 Amazing, original condition. Very, very clean motorcycle. Runs as good as it looks. No issues. Starts, idles and drives great. Lot's of power. No oil burning.Carbs recently synced. New plugs and oil change within last 500 miles. Good tires, good brakes. Clutch works great. Air suspension components all hold air, no leaks. All lights work perfect. Headlamp, brake light, turn signals, all OK. Horn works perfect.Exhaust is original and has no rust or leaks. Fuel tank clean. Petcock no issues.Recently had new timing belt installed but I cannot verify exact mileage. Recently inspected timing belt and idler pulleys and all look excellent. Stator connections clean, no browning or overheating. No coolant leaks and fan works excellent. All gauges work including temp gauge and fuel level gauge.Tires hold pressure. BONUS! I am also including with the bike the following items that are not pictured: Slipstreamer windshield (full coverage, slightly smoked, excellent condition with mounting hardware) Two hard case panniers with mounting brackets (very good condition)Luggage rack with backrest (good condition, missing two spacers) Two brand new Dunlop tires unmounted. Relive your younger days with this beautiful piece of history. The '83 is the best year for the Goldwing Standards, in my opinion. It has the cast aluminum mag wheels, electronic ignition and the fork brace as standard. In '84 Honda went to the GL1200 and changed the look of the bike and it lost some of that clean, vintage look, in my opinion. Know what your are bidding on! Although this bike is super clean for it's age, it is original and has never been upgraded (that's a good thing!) The right side cover was lost recently and I got a replacement which is not quite as nice as the left but it's in good shape. They pop up from time to time on eBay and you should be able to get a cleaner replacement eventually. The right cover is more available than the left because most people lose the left cover after checking the battery. The brakes stop the bike well but they will need some attention soon. Honda recommends a brake fluid change and new hoses every so often and it's due. All parts are cheap and readily available on the Internet. It has a scratch here and there but no dents and all imperfections in the paint are very minor and typical for a well maintained, garage stored '83. I do have a video of me driving the bike, sort of a review and test drive and I can make it available to anyone that is a serious bidder. This is a no risk auction. The bike is exactly as described.
