With over $2000 in receipts, this bike has been maintained by Keith Fellenstein of Geezer's Garage. Keith is the technical editor of Motorcycle Classics Magazine. Keith went through the bike stem to stern, repairing, replacing or servicing almost every major component. A partial list of the work done includes: - Disassemble and service wheel bearings - Replace petcocks with originals- Check, adjust valves- New valve cover gaskets- New pushrod tube gaskets- Service ignition switch, find and fix short in wiring- Disassemble and service clutch pack- Disassemble and service steering head bearings- Service brakes- Replace aftermarket handlebars with stock bars- Replace control cables- Replace all fluids- Replace seat latch- Repair tachometer drive- Replace all stripped or worn fasteners, bolts, screws etc. The bike has a clear Kansas title. It has a little over 11,000 miles on it. It is one of the Type 1 oil in frame 650s with four speed transmission. Some of the items that are not original or are missing are: Points ignition replaced with electronic ignition; paint not original, some small chips in paint; toolkit not complete; mirrors not original; choke lever missing. The bike is otherwise stock. I just put in a new battery. The bike starts easily with electronic ignition. It has Avon Venom tires. All electronics (lights, horn, turn signals), work fine except for the kill switch. Asking price is $3295 OBO.
