This is an 85 Merkur XR4TI which I bought and built for the $2003 Grassroots Motorsports Challenge. As featured on 1/6th of page 74 of the August 2003 Issue of Grassroots Motorsport car magazine. Will sell with that issue of GRM to maintain its provenance Was on pace to place in the top 3rdish after concourse and drags but blew original head gasket at the strip and couldn't compete in the autox the next day. Head gasket was fixed with a Felpro Blue and has been running good ever since. Felpro Blue headgasket (see above) 93k original miles manual ball valve boost controller set at 18psi Turbocoupe Intercooler (no BOV) Big VAM LA3 Turbocoupe computer repinned and w/premium fuel timing switch Turbocoupe phone dial rims painted white 15x7 (front rubs a little on full lock in a HARD autox turn); also have original stock rims with tires Corbeau driver racing seat with sliders and 5 point harness Momo steering wheel Boost, voltmeter, A/F meter gauges rear strut bar from overboosted overboosted downpipe 3in exhaust from downpipe back w/muffler KYB struts w 1inch lower springs 5 point harness Rear strut tower bar fan wired directly to the battery with a manual switch fetching fabric dashcover which completely hides the cracked dash underneath Depending on where you live if you have e-check (and this isn't exempted due to age) this may not be the car for you. A/C delete (had heat the last time I needed it years ago). Horn not wired ATM headlights not working on normal but will turn on brights.
