It sports a great running 217 horsepower 2.7 liter "boxer" six cylinder engine mated to the 5 speed manual transmission with stopping power provided by four wheel disc brakes with anti-lock .This 2800 pound mid-engined sports car features cold air conditioning, electric convertible top, electric windows, front and side airbags, factory alloy wheels with excellent Bridgestone Potenza rubber and factory stereo. THE BODY AND TRIM The exterior of this 2002 Boxster is in good, 99,9% rust-free condition with a nice overall shine to the paint finish and clear convertible top window. There are various rock nicks along with some fading and imperfections on the right rear quarter. THE INTERIOR As I hope is articulated in the photos here, the interior of this '02 Boxster is in very good overall condition with nice leather seats, cold a/c and all guages and controls in excellent working order. Imperfections inside the car include dim display on the radio screen and hvac control panel, missing small corner cover for mirror piece and missing passenger side visor mirror along with some light wear and tear on the trim pieces. THE DRIVING EXPERIENCE This little Boxster starts perfectly and runs beautifully smooth with nice power and beautiful intake and exhaust sounds when revved. The shifting is smooth and direct, the steering responsive and direct and the suspension perfect on the open highway. There is a slight front suspension clunk on small sharp bumps but otherwise the car drives beautifully delivering close to 30 miles per gallon topless at 70 miles per hour! THE DETAILS AND $$$$ 1.
