The design of this beautiful 1999 Jaguar XK8 convertible was inspired from the original E Type, one of the most stunning cars ever produced. This Jaguar is British racing green with a tan convertible top, one of the most desirable color combinations produced. The Jaguar drives incredibly and shifts smoothly. Information:Records indicate that this Jaguar was previously owned by renowned economist, Jack L. Treynor, who pioneered modern investment theory and served as the President of Treynor Capital Management in Palos Verdes Estates, California. Currently we are the private parties who own the Jaguar XK8 and have owned this Jaguar 2 years in Las Vegas, NV. We are the 3rd owner. This car was driven by the previous owners in Southern California for 14 years. It has approximately 68,500 miles. We have only driven this Jaguar XK8 about 6,000 miles and it has been garage kept 90% of the time that we have owned it. Condition: Mechanical:We believe this Jaguar to be in mechanically excellent condition. The Jaguar has a 4.0 liter V8 engine, and has been very reliable since we've owned it. It has been serviced at German Motors in Las Vegas, where the fuel pump was replaced. The convertible top motor had also been repaired in early 2016 and hydraulic lines replaced. Service records, Carfax, and AutoCheck are included. There are also 2 airbags, and there have no been no accidents. Exterior:The exterior is in great condition overall due to being garaged most of the time. The paint is not fading, but there are some minor chips and very minor scratches. The top is in excellent condition but needs minor stitching around the frame and will be done prior to sale. The top is fully functional. Interior:The leather seats are in good condition. There are some minor scratches, but there are no tears. All the seat controls are fully functional. The air conditioning, radio, cruise control are fully operational. The automatic windows also work. The steering wheel has slight wear. The plastic cup holder in the center armrest needs slight repair. Interior wood trim is in excellent condition.
