Thank you for viewing the auction for my 2002 Jaguar XJR. As the listing indicates this XJR needs the rear differential replaced. I drove this car daily until the differential broke. I have owned it for 4 years and it has been an awesome car the whole time. Overall it is in good mechanical shape. Motor runs strong and smooth and the supercharger (which has been rebuilt) works perfectly. The trans (which is a factory Mercedes Benz truck transmission) shifts perfectly. It is a very fast car doing zero to sixty in under 5.5 seconds. It has been well cared for throughout its life. Suspension and steering are tight. Ride is smooth. Brakes are strong with no pull. Body is decent with a several years old Maaco repaint. Looks good going down the road but does have some body flaws with minimal rust. Most accessories work. The right blower fan has been recently replaced. The left one needs replacing but is included with the car. Climate control works on vent, floor, and defrost. Ac needs charged. Interior is OK. The passenger front door panel has been replaced with a non matching tan panel. The original damaged panel comes with the car. Sunroof works properly. I have priced out replacing the rear differential with a warantied used one. Total cost parts and labor is $700.00. Overall this is a good XJR that can either be repaired easily (replace rear diff) or is loaded with great parts. I recently purchased a 2005 XJ8 and also have a 97 XK8. I cant afford to keep all 3 so the 02 XJR is up for auction. This is a no reserve auction with a low $500 starting bid as I need to sell.
