A perfect example of an early seventies Honda CB750. I've put 16,300 carefree miles on this in the past 15 years of ownership. I swapped the original handle bars for the tighter span of those from a 550. A bit more nimble. Other than the custom finned cover plates, the tires, the handle bars and grips, the bike is stock. I do most all my own work. (edit)..Original Honda Shop Manual in binder from American Honda Motor Co.will be available in a separate auction, as well as the rack shown in a couple pics. No red is showing on the front pads and I believe there's plenty of life, as with the rear brakes. The tires will get you riding, see pics. There's a tear on the seat, pics show it with black tape. Right front blinker droops slightly. The bike was parked one day and when I returned it was down on that side. Pics show slight indentation. Fortunately no other damage from that incident. The bike has never been in a road accident. During cleaning I discovered a slight crack in the left side cover. See pics, barely noticeable. I'll probably mesh and fiberglass the backside. I also found a small hole in lower left exhaust pipe, see pics...not noticeable in an audible way...bike still has it's original smooth throatiness. Slight pitting on front wheel. Normal oxidation on forks and engine castings.. All that said, this bike is a gem. I'll work with your shipper if needed but shipping is not included. Many thanks. Ask any questions. Happy bidding. I maxed out the pic option and can't remove any to insert another at this point in the auction. Contact me and pic will be sent. Previous owner in Ohio said it was from a garden tool in his garage. This bike has always been well maintained and garage kept, the beauty is, she's never needed much.. Pretty sure I've replaced a cable or two in it's life here. The clutch and or brake cables. Carburetors were synched a while back, tune up not too many miles ago. I'm going to change the oil and filter before she goes.My intention was to sell this "as is" which is still exceptional for a 43 year old bike which at certain points was my daily driver. You can't take this bike anywhere without getting attention from admirers. My woman says if anything happens to me, she's just going use the bike to attract men. Although I've never found any position on this bike where the pad comes into play but it grew on me. I'd now be afraid to remove it off for fear of color variations or whatever glue needs to be removed. This is all original paint as far as I can tell. The interior of the tank is in exceptionally good condition. I can't find a title in the file where I would normally keep titles leading me to believe that perhaps I never had one from Ohio, I need to search harder, or I was just relying on Vermont's law. Could be all three. The bike has been registered in Vermont every year for the past 15 years. Vermont works with other states re: titles with a phone call, or so I've read.
