Vehicle Detail
Here is an exceptional 1993 Buick Roadmaster Estate Wagon with low mileage. It glides down the road and you feel like you are on your living room couch. You will not find many in this condition. The paint is bright and shiny. The interior is clean with carpets showing only a slight amount of wear, (see photos). This car spent most winters in Fla. and was not used extensively in New England Winters, I never used it in snow. Tires have less than 1500 miles on them. It is inspected in NH,which has a strict safety checklist, more so than most states. Recent front end alignment. Please look at the photos to have a good idea of the condition, which I would place at nearly a 9 out of 10. No, it does not have the LT1 engine, but it has plenty of power. I have owned 7 of these Roadmaster wagons from the 92's to the 95's and I can tell you that the tuneups on the LT1 will run $750 to $1.000 if you use OEM parts (use aftermarket at your own risk) and replace the water pump. The cost of a tuneup on 93 is only a fraction of that. This car is a real head turner and you will love the ride. Car was appraised this past summer at $10,000.00 by an experienced and respected classic/antique car appraiser. ********NOTICE******* *******THIS VEHICLE IS A DECLARED TOTAL LOSS******* The above represented my pride and joy, pre-accident. Sadly, it was rearended recently and has been declared a total loss. There is just under $8k written damage estimated on it and while some who have body shop experience may consider it rebuildable , there may be hidden damage to contend with. I am offering the complete vehicle for parts only, but if you feel you can rebuild it, it is your decision. The last 5 photos are post-accident pics and while it may appear slight, there is both unibody and frame damage, see last 2 pics, the left rear door does not close completely due to unibody damage. The vehicle is being sold as is, where is, so please bid accordingly. If you would like a copy of the damage appraisal, send your email address and I will forward. I have an offer locally for the engine and tranny and I have set a price slightly above that, because I feel that more than drive train should be parted out due to condition of interior and other undamaged exterior parts. I have applied for the salvage title but do not have it yet, so the end of this listing may not coincide with the receipt of the accurate title document, resulting in a delay of unspecified days following the end of the auction. This vehicle may or may not pass inspection, depending on the state it is registered in.
