Barn Find - 1979 Toyota FJ40 LandCruiser, VIN = FJ40301576, Toyota color = Rustic Green, Code 621 Odometer shows 65,089K, but actual mileage is unknown. Motor: Engine runs well (believe that the valve seals need to be changed and have them). Engine Compression Dry/Wet check PSI; 125, 110, 110, 115, 113, 117 Transmission: All gears are functioning and shifting is smooth (Clutch grabs good and clutch master/secondary cylinders work fine). Transfer Case: Four wheel dive works just fine in 4WD high and low. Brakes work and vehicle stops fine, Emergency brake works (Brake booster and Master cylinder work fine). Body Condition: Overall good condition, Some rust in the drivers floor (Have already purchased the CoolCruisers Stamped Steel insert). - Will need the rear door body sill channel (available at CoolCruisers for about $380.00 - Some small rust sections, which can be repaired with small metal, patch sections installed. - Rear floor is mostly flash rust and will clean up nicely. Frame is in great condition with only minor flash rust which will clean up with wire brush (none of the frame has deep pitting. Springs and both differentials are in great condition and will clean up with wire brush. Main seats are in great condition and original cloth option (Rear jump seats are vinyl and in excellent condition). All glass is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks.
