Thank you for viewing the auction for my 2001 Audi A8L. This 2001 Audi A8L is in very good overall condition. Mechanically the motor runs perfect. It was replaced aproximately 30000 miles ago. The brakes are good and stop tight. The suspension and steering are tight and solid. The car drives great. All accessories work as they should, including ice cold air. Interior is in very good condition. The tires don't have a lot left in them but still ride good. There is a transmission issue. All forward gears shift tight, smooth, and work perfectly. When cold reverse works properly but once warmed up it it tachs up before engaging reverse. Once in reverse it doesn't slip. I am not a trans expert and do not know exactly what the fix is. I did research and found that you can get a good tested used unit for $800 to $1200. The body is in very good condition. The paint looks decent but there are some scrapes and scratches. No dents or rust anywhere. The worst of the scratches is on the passenger front door and is shown in the pictures. Last year I bought a 2002 S-8 and this A8L came to me as part of the deal. It has been in storage for the past year. When I picked it up I drove it 50 miles home . It drives great and runs great. It was clearly well loved and cared for by the prior owner. I recently purchased a Z06 Corvette and must sell several of my collection to pay off the Vette. Thus this is a no reserve auction with a low $750.00 starting bid. I need to sell.
