Developed during the union of Daimer and Chrysler, the two-seater is based on the R171 platform and shares 80% of its components with the R171 Mercedes-Benz SLK320. Basically, you are buying a Mercedes sports car hidden under Chrysler sheet metal. The Chrysler Crossfire was a very well-equipped sports car, even in base form and included standard features such as large alloy wheels with performance rated tires, a Becker A/M-F/M stereo with anti-theft and a CD player.
