Vehicle Detail
Selling my 2006 BMW K1200GT with a little over 41,000 miles. I purchased from the local BMW dealer in north Texas and was told it was an original one owner who traded in on a new BMW. I was told the owner worked for Lockheed in Fort Worth and he drove the bike to work and back. Serviced by the dealership when I purchased. Newer tires were on when I bought the bike. It's a weird silver tone, not just silver..as it came with the original side bags I sourced the luggage bag after the fact used. It's more of a true silver color, slightly more silver than the bike's paint scheme. Honestly, bought the bike for me and my wife to enjoy together (I have a Harley) and we have simply not used it as I thought we would. I've got some really nice helmets I bought (his and hers) plus some really nice day glow green/black Olympia Motorsports jackets I may list separately. I paid $10,000 for the bike Jan 2013 and with 41,XXX miles the bike is still considered fairly low mileage and super clean, other than the wind screen which is a bit foggy but not restrictive to normal vision. I was surprised when I bought the BMW I had no idea this 'cruiser' was really a bit of a rocket! And the amenities of the bike I was unaware of like cruise control, heated grips and seats, ride height controlled for 1 or 2 drivers with Sport or Comfort mode.. so, a lot of good stuff on a clean undamaged 11 year old bike. The prior owner added a handlebar relocation bracket. It brings the handlebars closer to the rider. I didn't get a great picture of it but it can be seen in a couple of the pics. It's been stored inside since I've owned it and although I didn't have a chance to wash the bike it still shows well even with a little bit of dust. I'm not hungry just need to move the bike. Thanks for looking and Happy Trading! Bobby
