Vehicle Detail
We are selling our 2006 Sienna, which we purchased new and have maintained very well ever since. We have all service records, almost all of which are from the Toyota dealer. I took it to the Toyota dealer this week to get its final oil change etc., and they provided a multi-point inspection as well (see picture). Features and OptionsPower drivers seat, power sliding doors, power tailgate, JBL sound system, Husky custom-fit all-weather floor mats, tow prep engine package, many more options. See original dealer invoice for listing of all equipment! It has cloth seats which are in beautiful condition. Condition: Very Clean! We have always been very particular in keeping this van clean, and always garaged. When our kids were young in car seats, we always kept the seats covered beneath the car seats. Now that our kids are older, we don't allow sticky snacks in the van, and there have been very few fast food meals consumed in this vehicle! My wife has always been the mom whom other moms asked, "How do you keep your van so clean?" Because she cared, that's how! :) On the outside, there are various nicks and scratches, a small dent above the left front fender (see picture) and minor hail damage on the hood (not visible unless you really look for it). Inside, it is just about perfect. There are a few dirt spots in the carpet in the "way back", but otherwise very very clean. The pictures do not do it justice inside -- the seats look brand new, and there really is very very little evident wear, considering the age of this vehicle. Service Work Within the past 50k miles, we've replaced a lot of the stuff that goes out once: power steering rack, CV boots, oxygen sensor, intake gaskets & manifold, starter, and most recently, drive belts. Most of this was done at the Toyota dealer, and we have receipts for all items. Here's the point: these items go out on all cars when they get higher miles. Because we've incurred these expenses for these items, you won't ever to. The recent dealer inspection noted that the left front wheel bearing is loose. They said that this is not urgent, but will need to be fixed. Their estimate was $650. I will leave this expense for the next buyer. Also note that the tires don't have a lot of life left: 6/32 on front and 4/32 on back. The vehicle just had an oil change, tire rotation, engine & cabin filter replacement, and drive belts replaced (Apr 27: you'll get the receipt for this and all other records). Sienna: The Family vehicle of choice! We have loved this vehicle -- so much so that we bought a new Sienna XLE to replace it with. You can't beat the Sienna for the family vehicle of choice!
