It's a hybrid, so you do not have to plug it in -- fill it up with regular gas and just drive! As is, I get 43 mpg city and about 57 highway on average, but the best gas mileage I ever got was just recently when I drove 55mph in a construction zone and actually got over 75 mpg in the car (even with the IMA light on) I am selling a 2000 Honda Insight, originally bought as a commuter car to get me back and forth to college, but have since purchased a 4 door to drive for Uber. I've just been using it as a 2nd backup car, but I'm leasing a new car, so I won't need a second vehicle anymore. Even though I didn't use this car much this year, it has always been reliable! Repair History -- -- IMA batteries rebalanced ($300 part not found in other listings, included in price, suggested using once ever 6 months to rebalance the hybrid batteries) -- Rear tires have about 300 miles on them -- battery replaced about a year ago Pros** -- Best non electric car out there -- Upgraded radio and speakers -- Fits into tight spaces! -- Never breaks down on me Cons** -- IMA light it on (however this doesn't impact MPG, only acceleration) -- Driver window switch is going bad (sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't) -- Driver mirror has tape wrapped around it since I bought it, but is still fully functional JHMZE1373YT002924
