Up for sale is a beautiful 1947 Chevrolet Fleetline Areo Sedan. The vehicle is equipped with an original 216 6 cylinder engine that has been completely rebuilt and updated for unleaded fuel. The transmission and rear end have been completely rebuilt. All engine components including carburetor, starter, and generator have been completely rebuilt. The battery is two years old. The brakes are four years old. The current owner has owned the car for 23 years. The car originally came from Texas and has no rust or rot, nor has it ever had any. The undercarriage is original and very nice as can be seen in the photos. This is a turn key car that can be driven anywhere with confidence! The car is very presentable with minor paint chips as can be expected in an old car. The correct white wall tires are fairly new as can be seen in the photos. The interior was updated with vinyl years ago. Everything works except the dome light, radio, and clock. The car is equipped with a color keyed hood ornament, bumper wings, rear center fold down bumper guard, working fog lights, working spot light, sun visor, push button radio, skirts with factory moldings, wheel trim rings, deluxe steering wheel, NOS horn ring (rare), windshield washers, and factory radiator overflow recovery system. The photos show all! The under hood area has been completely detailed with correct colors. Terms are cash or wire transfer within seven days of auctions end. Car is for sale in USA, Canada, and Europe. All funds are to be transferred in USA funds only. All transfer fees, if any, are to be paid by the buyer. The owners are a New Hampshire couple that are very good friends. I have taken car of all the cars needs for the past 23 years. The reason they are selling is that they also have two other cars and they are getting on in years and want to cut down to two cars. So hopefully that explains what people have been calling and asking about. Also, the paint chips are typical of a car that is used in the summer time. The leading edge of the hood has paint chips at the lower front edge, and some very minor chips around the car. The car is in very nice condition, shows very well, and is as dependable as an old Maytag washer!On Apr-29-17 at 05:20:12 PDT, seller added the following information: The owner contacted me this morning 8/18 and told me to remove the reserve. They have decided to sell the car to the highest bidder over 15,000.00 which came as a surprise to me. I think this is a really good deal for someone. They are NOT part of the auction. These parts can be purchased as a package by whomever buys the car. The part are from a parted out Aero sedan. They include all body parts, a complete drive train, wheels, interior parts, glass etc etc.
