Vehicle Detail
I bought this truck about 7 weeks ago with intentions of restoring it. I have 3 other cars already in the works and I cant start on this one until July at the earliest. I have decided to sell it off. I have not done any work to it. I am not a mechanic and unable to answer technical questions. I did have my long time mechanic look it over and he said the motor was running well and in good shape and the body was pretty good for an unrestored 1969 Bronco. Minimal rust. This could be a really nice ride with a little time and investment. They are a blast to drive. Some of them bring strong money when finished off nicely. Everyone wants a good truck with a good motor and a body with minimal rust. Lots of these early model Broncos are rust buckets. Not this one. You can call me at 251-709-6959 if you have any questions about the truck. I have only owned this truck for about 7 weeks and have done nothing to it. Here is the listing from the previous owner I bought it from: "Up for Auction is a original 1969 Ford Bronco. The bronco has the original 302 with 3 speed column shift transmission. I haven't drove it much just off the trailer and up and down the street but from what I've seen it seems to run good and shifts fine. The headlights work but the tail lights need wired up. It also needs the seat bolted down to make it roadworthy. I have both fuel tanks for it but the rear tank isn't installed and the main tank needs the filler neck put back on. The best part about this Bronco is the minimal rust. I'd say the body is 99% rust free. The frame is also rust free but the front frame horns are bent. I have a really nice big frame section I'm including with the bronco that way the next person can decide if they want to straighten the frame horns or just replace them. The passenger side fender is pushed in a little bit so I would assume it’s been hit or hit something at some point. It's nothing that seems to affect the way it drives just cosmetic. The bronco doesn't leak from anywhere I had it in my garage for a few months with no oil stains. All in all it's an original solid frame and body with what appears to be a good running motor. It's a good clean slate to do whatever you want with it." I ran an auction on this truck about 2 weeks ago and some moron placed a proxy bid on it that was the high bid for the last 5 days of the auction and discouraged all other bidding. He won the auction an requested a cancellation within about 5 minutes of the auction ending. I don't know what possessed him to do this as it totally undermines any resemblance of good faith business. PLEASE DO NOT BID ON THIS BRONCO UNLESS YOU ARE FULLY PREPARED TO PAY FOR IT WITHIN 3 DAYS OF THE END OF THE AUCTION. The auction is not an invitation to look at the truck and see if you want it. You can do that anytime during the auction and you will have the opportunity to buy it on the spot if you do. The high bidder at the end of the auction is expected to make payment in full. I can help you with shipping contacts if you need them. We are not looking at at lot of money here, probably less than $10,000. Please be prepared to buy if you bid. PLEASE. Thank you. $500 Deposit within 48 hours of the end of the auction Balance due in full within 72 hours of the end of the auction. You can call me at 251-709-6959 with questions or to set up an inspection of the truck. I am not a mechanic but have provided as much information as I can on the truck. On Apr-29-17 at 06:27:07 PDT, seller added the following information: NOTICE TO BIDDERS THAT DID NOT WIN THE AUCTION. The auction winners do not always close. This already happened to me on this Bronco earlier in the month. The buyer is required to close the sale within 3 days of the end of the auction. If they do not I will contact the next higher bidder. THERE IS A GOOD CHANCE YOU WILL GET THE OPPORTUNITY TO PURCHASE THE BRONCO AT YOUR BID PRICE WITHIN A FEW DAYS AFTER THE AUCTON IS OVER. I will contact you by email if the high bidder does not close in the 3 day required time. You are welcome to call or email me if you have any questions. 251-709-6959. Thanks for your interest.
