I have received excellent comments from others whom have bought cars from us and most of the cars we listed have sold prior to the auctions scheduled end date to buyers that used the "Buy It Now" feature . I am not a dealer . I am merely selling off a large collection of cars we have had for years and some of our relatives and friends cars that don't have an Ebay account. VEHICLE CONDITION This car is in xlnt condition . It is a Southern California car and has always been garaged so the paint and interior are very nice . There is a dent in the left rear quarter panel around 8" in diameter where something fell over on it but it is not very deep, and a there is a very minor thumb size ding on one door . It has a couple small chips but nothing that stands out like a sore thumb or detracts from the overall appearance . It has never been in an accident and has all original paint with no peeling or failing or lifting and it has an xlnt shine . The body is laser straight and all the panels line up perfectly . It has never been stored near the ocean so there is absolutely zero rust or corrosion anywhere. ENGINE COMPARTMENT It is virtually spotless with no dirt or grease whatsoever and all the plating on the hardware and hose fittings looks nearly new . The paint on the inner fender wells looks as nice as the paint on the outside of the car . The aluminum on the engine does not have any corrosion and looks nearly new . It still has every factory sticker and paint daub mark on it . The entire engine compartment nearly looks like it just rolled off the showroom floor . I will post photos soon. ENGINE CONDITION The engine always instantly starts and idles perfectly and there is no knocking or other unusual noises . In fact you can't hardly hear it even when standing in front of the car . If an engine is getting worn, it will smoke to some degree . This engine never smokes at all even when it is started or when accelerating hard . Please see further info in the emissions test section below. EMISSIONS TEST It just passed the very stringent California emissions test yesterday . Most of the emissions were zero which is an indicator of just how good of condition the engine is in . I posted a photo of the forms. The numbers on the left are the federal maximum allowable limits for these cars when they have less than 50,000 miles . The numbers on the right are from this car . The zeros are not errors, they simply mean that the level of emissions it produced were less than the machine could read which means that this engine and catalytic converter are in and this engine is still in incredible condition and should last a very, very, long time . The CO2 is just carbon dioxide which is what is used to carbonate drinks and it is not poisonous which is why they do not have a standard for it for this year. GAS ....FEDERAL STANDARD ...... THIS CAR CO .................... 3.4 .................................. 0.0 NOX ..................0.4 .................................. 0.0 HC .................... 4.1 .................................. 2.0 CO2 ................. N/A ................................ N/A ENGINE CODES This car has NO warning light or pending code issues . If these cars have a check engine light or other lights on, there is a problem somewhere, however, there can also be a problem even if there are no lights and these only show up with a scanner and are called "pending codes" . This suggests that a particular part, or parts, may soon fail, therefore, it is helpful to know if a vehicle has any pending codes before you buy it . They had to scan the computer on this car yesterday as part of the emissions test and there were no warning lights on and no pending codes, and all the warning lights work properly, therefore, it is not as if any have a burned out bulb so you can't tell if there is a problem. VEHICLE TITLE I can have the car titled to the new buyer at no cost if you want . California DMV will immediately issue new registration and ownership papers but it may take around 2 weeks for them to send you the title. TRANSMISSION FUNCTION This is the original transmission and it had the factory oil jet kit upgrade done early in its life . It also just had new updated fluid and new factory Honda torque converter clutch solenoids installed and the solenoid screens were also inspected and a new updated 3rd gear pressure switch was installed. The transmission works perfectly with one minor exception . Some mornings when the transmission is cold, it will shift slowly from 2nd to 3rd one time only . After it does this it shifts like a new trans the rest of the day . I was told by the transmission shop that this is likely due to a dirty filter screen in the other servo which is easily accessible from the outside and once the fluid is warm enough if is thin enough to easily flow through the screen . I was going to have them fix it but unfortunately they can't get to it for around 4 more weeks because they are so busy . They said it would only take around 30 minutes or less and cost $60.00. Other than this minor occasional issue, the trans shifts like brand new . If you floor from a stop it shifts solid in every gear . If you drive at highway speed and floor it, it shifts down properly and solidly as it should . At no point does the transmission slip. LEATHER INTERIOR IN SPECTACULAR CONDITION With the exception of a small wear mark next to the drivers floor mat, the interior looks nearly new . These cars have leather seats, and leather typically dries out and gets hard from the sun and gets surface cracks in it after many years . Fortunately, the original owner of this car had very dark tint installed on the side and rear windows when he first bought it which greatly reduced the affect of the sun on the leather . He also parked it in a parking garage when he was at work and parked it in his garage at home at night, so the interior had very minimal exposure to the sun, and because of this, the leather has zero cracks and is not faded and is still extremely soft and pliable . It does have a couple of the usual soft, or shallow, creases, but these are common even on seats that are nearly new and they just add character. The door panels and dash pad do not have any scratches and the faux wood trim is scratch free and flawless. There is zero wear on the leather steering wheel and it is not sun baked on the top and it looks nearly new. ELECTRIC SUNROOF These sunroofs often do not work because they get used a lot and the motor and/or tracks wear out, and if they don't work it can easily cost $1,000.00 or more to fix them . The previous owner rarely used the sunroof on this car, so both the retracting AND the tilt feature work like new. INSPECTION I encourage people to come see and drive the car so they can see how nice it is . I am available most anytime to show it .
