I am selling a 1940 Ford Coupe that has been in one family for 4 generations. It is all original with the exception of the last great grandson put a new interior in it to his liking including new door panels, carpet, and headliner. He also did some mechanical items to make it more road worthy such as new brakes, hoses, gas tank and sending unit, tune up with solenoid, plugs, etc. A complete new duel exhaust system front to back. Car starts right up, shifts into all gears, and stops as it should. Only thing that wasn't changed was the radiator. There are no leaks under the car and I have found no rust thru or bondo on the car even after using a magnet. Surface rust as seen in pictures. New front tear drop headlights and taillights. Everything on the car works including all the gauges, lights, and the spotlight. Tires are new Michelins along with the new wheels. Passenger side window is difficult to roll up and down but the drivers side works fine. The window vent on the passenger side has a crack in the glass. All other glass is good. It is missing the deluxe insignia's that go on the side of the hood but those are available in after market. Car needs paint and new weather stripping as it is cracking and has numerous scratches. As seen in the pictures the running boards need new rubbers but they is no rust thru. Car is for sale locally and the listing can stop at any time. No pay pal payment is accepted due to fees and the wire transfer to my bank is the only payment accepted except cash in person. Cashier checks take 7 days to clear so if you want to wait for it to clear before the car is picked up that is acceptable also. It is a standard and not a deluxe and apparently the motor is from the 49 thru 53. I don' t know all the history on the car as the great grandson that traded it in also didn't know all the details. With that being said it is still a nice rust free car to fix up to your liking.
