First off, the car is located in Statesville NC and is available to be inspected during the auction with advanced notice. The car is a very nice rust free Southern car with no accident damage or repair. The motor just threw a rod and in now non operable although the engine case is still intact. The brakes, transmission and all mechanicals still work fine. This car was on the road as a daily driver just a few weeks ago with everything functioning as it should. It has a great color combination with white exterior and factory black and red interior. The car received over $2000 in upgrades within the past year before the motor failed. Here is a partial list: NS 1407 Black alloy wheels with new tires K&N Cold air intake Red leather shift boot with SPC shift knob New OEM headlights and lenses (hard to come by and expensive) New soft top (less than one year old) New JVC stereo De-badged with Midship Runabout emblem on hood and steering wheel Also has an upgraded aftermarket exhaust which was installed by previous owner Comes with records and complete service history back through previous owner. This MR2 does have some were and tear as typical of a car this age and mileage. Body shows minor dings and scuffs and interior does show seat wear and could use a good cleaning. This is a perfect candidate for an autocross or track car build or fix the motor and be back on the road with a fun reliable rust free car. If you have questions, please ask!
