Vehicle Detail

96 Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE NO RESERVE! 1995 Mercedes E320 convertible, silver/grey, the last model year for this collectible. The twenty-two-year old car has 75K on the engine; 140K overall. This was a theft recovery vehicle (thus, the replacement engine and rebuilt title). I have owned the car for about 7 years. I have replaced the battery, alternator, oxygen sensor, two power top hydraulic cylinders, computer comfort control module and seat belt warning module. I have also replaced the mass air flow sensor, installed new front brakes, and had a new dark blue German canvas top and cream-colored headliner installed. I recently put new Michelins all the way around (including the full-sized spare). All work was performed by the Mercedes dealer. The body/paint is very good and very shiny, with just a few scuffs on the bumper and very little road rash. Everything works as it should with no warning lights (the red light on dash photo indicates the emergency brake is applied). Heated seats and cold A/C. This is a great top-down touring car. The upholstery needs a little TLC: the leather on the front seats shows some cracks. Also, I put my new puppy in the back, and he chewed on the armrests (see photo). Yes, I still have the dog! On Apr-11-17 at 10:55:00 PDT, seller added the following information: I do have receipts for all of the items listed (and more). The AC does not leak; I have never had to recharge it. I have not replaced the head gasket or wiring harness, nor has there been reason to do so. The car has no fluid leaks. I have not had to replace tie rods or bushings, nor the radiator or water pump. I did replace the motor mounts. I recently had the transmission serviced: the dealership dropped the pan to clean the permanent filter and replaced the transmission fluid. I have had an ignition coil replaced and spark plug connector. The car runs very well and shifts smoothly. Its shortcomings are cosmetic and confined to the interior upholstery. (Also, the plastic covers on the sun visor mirrors broke off). Regarding the theft recovery, I can only repeat what the Atlanta, GA dealer who sold me the car said: that the motor was replaced after the car was recovered. The Carfax report indicated it was recovered in California in 2009. The Carfax report listed no other issues. I did have a collision shop inspect the car when I bought it, and no evidence was found of any accident or collision work.
