Purchased new by my father in 1998. Senior owned, never raced or abused. Runs and rides like new. The wheels and footpeg brackets have been custom chromed and look incredible. Has Corbin seat, custom windscreen, throttle lock, and bar risers (stock seat and stock windscreen are available, if desired). Engine and exhaust are stock with no modifications since new. Used on the weekends only, never a commuting vehicle. The CBR1100XX is renowned for its smooth-running engine and amazing power. It is rock-solid stable on the highway. The plastics have accumulated some scratches over the years, but most are small and hard to notice. I took a picture of the biggest scratch, which is on the lower right fairing. I am no longer able to ride, so it’s time for this incredible machine to go to a new home. On Apr-13-17 at 22:06:01 PDT, seller added the following information: Added more photos to try to show the minor plastic scratches. Also, someone wanted to see the instrument panel with the handle bars straight (not sure why). Please note: I have ridden the bike a little this week, so the mileage is approximately 15,150.On Apr-14-17 at 07:08:50 PDT, seller added the following information: The old battery was a little weak, so I just had the Honda dealer install a brand new battery ($89 plus $32 install).
