This 1978 BJ 40 was restored to showroom condition , this vehicle will be sold already imported in the US : Vermont 05830, at no extra cost with all necessary papers to have it registered in your home state We purchased this rare 1978 BJ40– Diesel, Canadian edition which has more equipmnent that the basic third world editions as found in south and central America, from the original owner's estate, who had installed a brand new engine by Toyota in it and had barely used it used since , the truck mileage is very low at 94655 km (59000 miles), a complete frame off restoration was performed , details and pictures available. New polyurethane body mounts were installed. New rubber seals,as well all cables, the wiring was gone through , new lights , new fuel injectors ,glow plugs, the complete braking system from master cylinder to brake shoes and hoses were replaced , fuel lines ,gas tank , new exhaust system. Of course all maintenance items have been renewed ,fluids, filters belts etc.. Also the seats were reupholstered. Seat belts are Toyota originals.
