Vehicle Detail
Up for bid is a very nice Honda CB500 Four K0. This bike is titled as a 1973 but according to the VIN it is a K0 model built 10-71. This is a running, driving motorcycle with a clear title that matches the frame number exactly. It starts up easy, shifts through the gears smoothly and is a pretty quick little 500. Please look over the pictures closely and feel free to ask questions. I wish I knew the history of this motorcycle. It shows 40K miles on the odometer but looking at it you would say that's not correct and I'm am not sure if it is accurate. The paint is original and in very good shape with a few minor flaws. There is one light dent on top of the tank I tried to point out in one of the pictures, its actually hard to see and not very noticeable. Both side-covers have rectangular areas on them that appears there was a sticker there and that part is true to the original color and not faded, not that the paint is very faded. Its not that noticeable until the light hits it. The chrome is in really good shape for a bike of this age. It shows that this has been well cared for in its life. The engine is very clean and doesn't show any signs of head gasket leak that many of these suffer from. Everything is working on the electrical system except for the neutral light and oil light. The battery is basically new. The interior of the tank has been treated and it looks like they did a good job. This motorcycle is located in Shelbyville MI 49344. I am able to work with long distance buyers who need time to arrange for pick-up or a shipping service. Please take note that payment is needed in a timely manor. All arrangements are the buyers responsibility but I will do what I can to help on my end. I prefer the bike is picked up within 30 days after auction ends, the sooner the better.
