1970 Honda CT 70 H Rare 4 Speed. 595 original Miles. Original Paint, Engine, Seat, Bars, Tool Kit, Name it. The only thing I am not sure of is the Muffler, although when I purchased it years ago it was represented as all original, so I can't be certain, but it is original Honda. I did install a rear rack that I purchased from CHP. I think it looks better. Loosen two nuts and its off, that simple. The bike for a 47 year old is in surprisingly great shape. There are a few rubs and chips.......but not many. A small blemish on the chain guard from what I would assume was a battery tube splash. These old bikes use acid batteries and looks like some acid landed on it. The right side of the headlight housing has a 1 1/4 inch stress crack in the lower half. Looks like it can be glued from the inside and would be just about invisible. Very common on these bikes as the housing is plastic and the tightening of the nut can cause a crack. That is what caused this. Does not look as if the bike has ever hit the ground. I could fix it in 30 min or less but preferred to leave it alone. Very small patches of surface rust on normal areas like underneath the bottom of the handlebars, kick-starter and brake peddles. Happy to send any additional pictures if you wish. I purchased the bike years ago from a man in Oregon. It was his fathers bike. After His Dad lost his wife he would fire up the 70 and ride down a dirt driveway to the country road, continue another 1/2 mile, then up another driveway to his best friends house, have a beer or two and ride home. He was the only one who rode it and those were the only miles put on the bike. I live downtown Carmel and over the last 15 years have only ridden it around town a few miles and in Yosemite a few miles( that's where it's most fun, camping) twice. Other than that shes been covered in the garage. The bike comes with the original tool kit still in the unopened factory bag and the original key. I do have a clear California Pink Slip in hand. The bike should be in the system but has not been reg. since 2008. Plates are still on the bike. It is street legal. These bikes are very popular now a days. Most all you see that are acceptable are restored. We all had one when we were young and beat them to death......and they never died.
