Vehicle Detail

Up for sale is a nice 1987 Ford Bronco II 4X4 Automatic Transmission with Overdrive, power steering, Air Conditioning, power windows. power door locks, cruise control, etc. This car was owned by a much older man (90 years old) who obviously took good care of it. It has 86,779 original miles and has a nice interior with no rips or tears in the upholstery. The carpets are intact with no holes but could use a shampooing. What I know the car needs is an AC Compressor (it's missing), a radio and new tailgate & rear window pistons (hold the tailgate & rear window open). I was told the old man painted the car himself, twice and I think he did a good job except that he didn't wet sand it afterwards to bring up the shine. As far as I know, everything works, (including the 4WD) except the passenger side power window works on & off, which I believe is a loose wire or connection in the wiring near the master switch on the drivers door. The buyer is responsible for shipping. On Mar-13-17 at 06:59:02 PDT, seller added the following information: Just to clarify, the hydraulic pistons that hold up the rear gate and rear window need to be replaced, not the gate itself. :-)On Mar-16-17 at 06:09:37 PDT, seller added the following information: I have added a few more photos. The first is the lamp diagnostic indicator which is in the front of the center console. This device indicates whether you have a light bulb that isn't functioning, such as a turn signal or brake lamp. There is a button you can push on the left to see if it is working correctly, which you can see by the photo that it does. I think this is a "cool & advanced feature", especially for the category and year of the vehicle. The second photo is of the two way handle on the rear gate. Some bronco 2s have a "solid gate", meaning that the rear glass window is fixed and doesn't open. The other type is what is on this truck. Turning the handle one way opens the whole gate, but turning the handle the other way opens just the window. In my opinion, this version is best, giving you a choice of which you want to open, the whole gate to put in or remove something large or just the window for something small. The last picture shows the automatic shift handle on the right and the 2WD/4WD (Hi & Low) shift handle on the left On Mar-16-17 at 10:30:09 PDT, seller added the following information: By the way, one of the best things about owning a "classic car" like this, is the classic car insurance. As long as the car is old enough, unique enough (or both), is in good condition (or better), is garaged and it is not your "daily driver", you can get this wonderful insurance. This car is currently insured with a classic car insurance company at a mutually agreed upon value of $7500 with zero deductible, full coverage and a premium of $141 a year. :-)
