Vehicle Detail
This well maintained motorcycle has Staintune exhaust, a Corbin leather saddle, heated grips, power outlet, upgraded suspension, Avon sport touring tires, factory bags, and the stock seat, and mufflers. The forks have been reworked by Progressive suspension, the shock is from White Power. The Staintune slip ons replace the factory mufflers, and give a wonderful growl, while maintaining a reasonable decibel limit. The Corbin leather saddle reduces the seat height by an inch or so, while providing a wider, flatter, much more comfortable seat. The tires are relatively new, with several seasons left on the tread. The bike has been started regularly, ridden at least monthly, and serviced annually since I bought it. It has typical wear and tear. There are several scratches, the rear hugger has a repaired crack. There are no bag liners. The windscreen has holes drilled at the top edge to add a deflector which has been removed. All the lights, turn signals, switches, and buttons work correctly. There is an added switch on the right switch cluster for two level heated grips. There is a BMW style power outlet by the riders left knee. Bar end weights are also twist to lock cruise control. Triumph originally designed the air box and air cleaner as a unit, and it was to be replaced as such. This bike has the air box opened, with a K&N air filter installed. The air box was then re-sealed with screws. This bike is ready to ride to where ever you would like. I wouldn't hesitate to leave for the west coast as it sits. It has been my "appliance" for several years. It needs minimal maintenance, never gives me a problem, and is always ready to travel.I'm selling because I now live in North Carolina, and spend my riding time in the mountains. While this bike is a blast, it's just one of several, and I really need to downsize. As an added incentive, if you use the Buy It Now feature, and fly in to Asheville, I will pick you up, sit you on the bike, and show you some of the best riding east of the Mississippi. As usual, I require a $250 non-refundable deposit within 24 hours of close of auction. The bike is for sale as is, where is. There are no warranties, expressed, or implied. Any and all transportation costs are the responsibility of the new owner. The only accepted payment options are cash, or a bank check. If you use anything other than cash, the bike, and all paperwork will remain here until the check has cleared both your and my banks. The insurance and registration on this motorcycle have been stopped. If you feel the need to take a test ride, I require payment in full, proof of licensing, and all NC state requirements. Then you can ride "your" bike. If it comes back the same as it left, and it is not as described, I'll refund the price. If it's damaged, or you get cited, the bike is yours and your responsibility. The motorcycle is also advertised locally at the Buy It Now price. Should it sell locally, I reserve the right to terminate the auction. If the winning bidder has to travel, or arrange transportation, I will store the bike for up to 30 days after the end of the auction. Any further storage may be subject to a modest fee.Thank you for reading all this, and happy bidding. On Mar-29-17 at 17:38:03 PDT, seller added the following information: The buy it now price is 2500.00. Ebay has a policy of clearing the buy it now once a bid has been received. While I do not agree with this policy, I am forced to accept it.If you wish to use the buy it now price, I suggest that you just place that amount as a bid. If you bid on or over the buy it now, and still want to fly in, I will gladly extend the airport pickup offer.
