For Sale: 2005 BMW K1200s in northwest Indiana. NO RESERVE AUCTION, highest bidder will take it.I'm buying a new bike so today I've decided to put my current bike on the market. I'm going to price it to sell. It really is a mint condition bike, lots of dealer maintenance and adult driven. I have service records and clear title. All touring miles.(approx 65K) No leaks, never dropped. This bike has been all over the midwest, Appalachian mountain road tours, etc.Runs perfectly, cosmetically almost perfect. (see video walkaround below, and me riding it today dated 3-7-17) and looks like new.Regular oil and filter changes, including rear drive, steel braided brake lines for crisp response, new tires (Michelin Pilot Road 2). The bike is completely stock mechanically, but does have a full Remus exhaust (expensive) a Corbin seat with removeable backrest (see below) for your passenger comfort, a power commander, a Garmin motorcycle GPS with touchscreen that works, has the BMW hard luggage, comes with Pitbull stand for easy maintenance, and a factory BMW tankbag. The bike has ABS for safety, electronic suspension adjustment so you can choose either comfort or sport modes while riding, a throttlemeister cruise control to rest your hand on a long drive, heated grips, HID headlight for ultra bright light at night or safety light during the day, a fairly recent battery, recent set of spark plugs, plus all the original factory parts in nice condition (stock seat, stock exhaust, etc) The bike has been owned by mature adults and has never been abused. No handlebar shimmy or vibration at low or high speeds, very stable at speed. It has close to Hayabusa performance, so it is not really a beginner bike. These bikes are close to $20k new. This is a shaft drive sport bike. You don't need to fiddle with it too much. Just get on it and go. The bike is ready to enjoy the Spring and needs nothing. And it is also a terrific bike for winter touring with heated grips and a plug for your heated jacket which extends your riding season. You can ride this high performance bike in comfort. I've priced it ultra low due to miles, but these bike routinely go 150-200k miles with normal maintenance. This is a water-cooled, automotive type engine in many ways similar to a BMW car.
