1985 Honda 250ES Big Red

Nearly 100% original 85 Big Red, right down to the factory good year tires, which still hold air. Was one owner before i bought it, i have put maybe two hours on it. Bike has spent its entire life in Arkansas, always stored indoors and it shows. Still have everything from the dealership from when new including both keys, owners manual, title, warranty card, even the auxiliary light cable for detaching headlight for use as work light. Still one owner showing on title from 8/14/85. No cracks in any of the plastics. Tank is beautiful, shiny, no leaks but has been coated inside and two small places on the bottom where it was repaired. Both front shock boots have started to separate from age and would need to be replaced to make perfect. Only non OME piece on the bike is new aftermarket carburetor. I still have the OE carb that will go with the bike, but it will need rebuilt. I have had great luck with these aftermarket carbs so i went that way instead of rebuilding the 30 year old carb. This bike cold starts better than my late model Honda ATVs even in cold weather, Not cold natured as some of these can be. I just recently changed oil, filter and spark plug as well.
