1999 Ford F250 Superduty, 2WD, 7.3L Turbocharged Diesel V8 OHV 16V FI Engine. The good: Mechanically this truck has been very well maintained. All new rubber bushings installed on front half of truck in 2014, truck rides smooth and tracks straight. Tires are top rated Michelins with excellent life remaining, shocks replaced with last tire change. Truck does not leak anything, AC blows cold, engine does not smoke and pulls strong, starts strong every time. New water pump, alternator and dual batteries 2014.Headlights replaced 2015, old units were glazed over. Oil and filter changed every 4000 miles. No rust, no collision damage ever. I have driven this truck with zero issues to Santa Fe, NM from Austin, TX twice in the last year, averaging 18.5 to and 21 mpg returning. I would feel comfortable driving it cross country, it has been that reliable for me. The bad: (see pictures) This truck has been used as a truck should to handle my day to day task. Hauling materials, men, mountain bike, firewood, helping friends move, hauling trash, and more. This has contributed to the appearance of the body that the pictures show. Both bumpers have kissed many items on the property. The tailgate has seen better days. The front of the bed had a loose item smash into during breaking once, bending the top. The carpet and seats show wear expected for age of truck. Drivers window motor slow at times which I intened to replace if it ever failed, the tape deck does not work but the radio does, rear sliding window needs new lock and tint as well as tint on one side window (tint removed due to peeling). Paint is faded on top of cab, body panels have various scrapes/scrathces from brush and very minor pin dings. Beyond the appearance, this is still an excelltend/mechanically well maintained truck with plenty of life. Reason for selling? I have to many toys of all kinds. See other auctions, I am purging.
