2004 BMW 745i Beautiful car! High miles, but the engine only has 80,000 mi.! Runs great, with no smoking or overheating.. Trans shifts very smooth. The car is driven daily 60mi. round trip and was recently driven on a 400 mi. round trip with no issues. Ice cold AC, all options work. Interior is in fantastic condition, no rips or split seams, the carpet is in great shape.. The rear seat looks like it was rarely ever used. Just passed smog so it has a current NV certificate. The car just had a ton of money spent on it (over $8k); here is a partial list of new parts within the last few mos.:AC compressorwater pumpthermostatheater hosesengine block water tube with new valley pan coverspark plugsrear main seal upper and lower timing cover gasketstiming cover sealoil pan gaskets (upper and lower)all new brakes including new sensors, 4 slotted electro-plated rotors and ceramic pads on all four wheelsnew parking brake modulenew ivm (ism) modulemuch more... The car was purchased for my wife. She doesn't like driving it, says it's way too big for her, so I have to sell. At the "Buy it Now" price I am losing money on the car, but I need to sell. I've spent a ton of money on it making sure that it would be a good car for her, but if she isn't going to be driving it I don't want to spend any more.. I want to be completely honest about the car - there are a couple of small issues that still need to be repaired:Intermittent chk eng light, mechanic says that vanos solenoid needs replaced, $400 job. Smog is new and the car runs great and I have to sell so I haven't spent the $$$ to fix itright mirror cover is missing $30 on eBayDSC light is on (traction control) mechanic says $100 re-built module to fix.. no snow in Vegas, I don't care about traction control (ABS works fine) It is a used car, and as such sold AS-IS with no warranty.
