Up for auction is my 1973 Polara, I would consider this car for parts or restoration, although I have used it for a daily driver and recently took a 200 mile round trip with it. The car has a tendency to overheat in traffic so it's going to need something , I just don't know what. Enough with the bad, the good is, the car has a .040 over 400, rebuilt trans, (727) 3.55 sure grip 9.25 rear end , headers, dual exhaust, good tires, aluminum Tarantula intake with 750 Edelbrock carb. The car runs , drives and stops good but would need to be trailered because of overheating issues. Feel free to ask questions and bid only to buy!On Feb-10-17 at 13:19:11 PST, seller added the following information: I did drive the car today for the first time since it tried to overheat. I believe the radiator cap is bad or not the correct one and it is letting the coolant out the overflow hose. The car fires right up and drives like new. Also the trunk and floors are solid. This car was recently my daily driver and has many new parts such as calipers, hoses, water pump,,etc. I do think the radiator cap failed and that's what caused it to run hot that one time. It's not leaking antifreeze that I could see and didn't try to get hot today, although it's pretty cold out.
