1965 BMW R50 NO RESERVE!!! Selling a good running smooth shifting 1965 BMW R50. I have owned many of these old vintage BMW's. The R50 is one of the smoothest 1955 - 1969 vintage bikes you can own. I bought this from a collector in South Florida about 15 years ago. It has been setting for most of that time. I decided to get her running. I installed a new coil, points and condenser. Rebuilt the carbs. Compression was very good, about 100 PSI on each side. Cleaned the tank, started right up. Tires will obviously need to be replaced. Good candidate for a restoration, or with a little TLC, could make a good rider. It runs and shifts great. The generator and commutator are missing. The good part is it runs and drives, so you know the majority of the bike is there. The bike is sold as is with no warranty. I can send you a video to show it runs and drives good. About 99% of my Ebay buying and selling are vintage BMW related and I have 100% positive feedback. You can bid with confidence. I'm in central Florida.
