This 2004 XKR convertible is one of only 200 Portfolio Edition cars made for the US (100 in the Coronado Blue). This car has been maintained in terrific condition - no accidents, no paintwork, no dents or dings, no rips or tears, no smells. It presents exactly as you would desire and expect whether you will drive it or purchase it as a collectible. It has only 21,216 correct miles showing. The title is, of course, unencumbered and guaranteed. This is a private sale, but will be run through a cooperating dealer for security and tax purposes (only Georgia buyers will pay taxes) and a modest $299 dealer fee will apply. The Portfolio Edition upgraded the standard XKR with asymmetric, 2 piece 20" BBS wheels in the unique "Detroit" style. None on this car show any significant marking. Of course, the Coronado Blue paint is very special with an iridescence not found in the standard color palette; only 100 of the Portfolio's were made in this color. The exterior color is picked up inside the car with hand-cut color matched Boxmark leather inserts on the custom Recaro seats as well as the door panels, dash and steering wheel. The "hand" of this wonderful material is remarkable. Complimenting is special bronze stained Sapele veneer wood inserts, a 320 watt Alpine stereo, and a navigation system. Under the hood is the legendary 390hp 4.2l Supercharged V8 whose power output has been subtly and tidily improved with a full Mina Gallery performance intake system for a claimed 12hp gain and a Mina Gallery stainless steel performance exhaust worth another 12 to 15 hp. While the noise difference with these components is characterized only as pleasing, the stock parts are included in the sale. To haul this fast cat down, the standard Brembo brakes have recently received new ceramic pads. Original MSRP was $93,995.
