Up for auction is a 2003 Ford E-250 CNG(Compressed Natural Gas) Cargo Van. This is a FACTORY system, not an aftermarket conversion. Dedicated CNG only. NOT bifuel or propane. This will only run on CNG. Does not run on gasoline and cannot be made to run on gasoline. One owner utility fleet vehicle. Only 67k miles. Comes complete with steel partition and rear shelving/cabinets. Has a working amber roof light. Runs and drives good and has just been serviced. Please read below for more details. It is produced by decomposition of organic material in the absence of oxygen. The Earth has vast natural gas deposits and much of them are located within the US. It has been used as a motor fuel for over 100 years. Most homes use it for heating and cooking purposes. When burned, it produces carbon dioxide (CO2) and water as waste. NO knocks, NO smoke, NO dripping engine leaks. Underside is dry as you can see in the pics. Transmission shifts into and through all gears as it should. Has proper acceleration and cruises at highway speed. The 5.4L Triton V8 is the industry workhorse and is reliable and efficient. Just Serviced: Motorcraft OEM platinum sparkplugs installed, oil and filter change, new starter. Exterior Paint retains most of its factory shine as you can see. The body is overall straight but there are a series of blemishes such as nicks, chips, dings, and scratches around the body. There are some soft dents here and there, most notably on the lower portion of the side rear door. There are guages in the paint where decals were removed, mostly in the rocker area. No major rust on the body. A few small spots of bubbling paint near the lower rear wheel well. Overall average condition for a work van of this type. Interior Interior is in overall good condition with normal average wear. The front seats are in good condition with no rips, tears, or excessive wear. Vinyl floor is not excessively worn and is in good condition. The dashboard is in good condition with no fading, cracking or excessive wear. There are some scuffs on some of the interior plastic panels. Interior is fresh and clean. Wheels and Tires · Tires have approx 70%+ tread remaining. Factory Ford hubcaps. Overview I have test driven this vehicle over 100 miles and it should have no problem going anywhere. Due to limited availability of CNG stations in some areas, I would recommend having this vehicle shipped. I have tried to describe the condition to the best of my ability but this is merely a guideline and there may be undetected defects or repairs may be required. As I recommend to all my customers, you should have your mechanic look over any newly purchased vehicle before extensive use. I have tried to list as many details about this vehicle as I can, including known defects. There may be deficiencies that I am not aware of so buyers are encouraged to inspect in person. Vehicle is otherwise sold with no additional warranty beyond what the manufacturer may have in place.
