Heater & A/C System Has Been Deleted Rear Differential Has 3.73 Gears (as per previous owner) 770 Holley Dbl. Pumper Carb The non-adjustable rocker studs was replaced with adjustable style studs on the heads I have over 140 4”X6” photos in an album of the restore and all receipts since I purchased the vehicle in Dec. 2011! It needs a front end alignment, the front suspension is all new but never aligned. It does drive nice and straight thou! It needs tires (they have tread but are cracked from age) there's P215/70R14 in front and P275/60SR15 in the rear all are BFG Radial T/A’s. It needs a paint job, me being an automotive tech I left the body and paint for last. There is a couple scratches and very minor dents but nothing major!! The hood did not come with the car but is off another 1979 Firebird and has a couple small rust spots. Both door skins were replaced and are in primer along with the trunk lid (all done by the previous owner). I did have a hard time trying to align the driver’s window after rebuilding the door hinges so I had a friend of mine that owned a auto body shop come and take a look at it…his professional opinion (without doing any teardown or dismantling) was the driver’s door skin was put on slightly off so when the window is adjusted correctly the window mechanism hits the inside of the door skin but I do have an extra factory (not aftermarket) driver’s door that has a very very small amount of rust on the bottom inside edge that goes with the car so I left the window unadjusted. The passage door is perfect! The engine has never been “test and tuned”. The engine and transmission was rebuilt by professional shops in May 2012. Everything is set to stock (timing and carb). The engine has been correctly broken in, is started monthly and has about 150 miles drive time. I just changed the oil with a NAPA Gold filter and 6qts Castrol GTX 10w40 oil. The only reason I did not completed the car was the shop I was working at and stored the car in closed suddenly in Nov. 2015 and I had a short amount of time to get it out. This is all I’m aware of that is left to do. With that being said it is a car restoration! Being a 1979 the odometer does not have a spot for the hundred thousand mile mark. It only has 5 spaces and a spot for the tenths. Showing on the odometer is 09928.0. I'm NOT selling the vehicle as an "Only 10,000 mile car"!! Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE
