FOR SALE: 2001 Porsche 911 / 996 Carrera Cabriolet (convertible) Hello. Thanks for taking a look at the Porsche I have for sale. This is a great running and good looking 911 that is ready to go and needs nothing. EXTERIOR: As you can see in the pictures, the car's body is in overall great shape for a 2001. There are a few small chips and scratches here and there, but nothing stands out. MECHANICAL: I give the mechanical 10 out of 10 on condition. The car runs and drives beautifully. There are no trouble lights on (check engine, etc) and the car passed AZ emissions last year. The engine runs strong and smooth with no smoke on cold startup or any other time for that matter. The Tiptronic automatic transmission shifts great. NO LEAKS whatsoever from any component. The brakes and tires have lots of life left. In fact, the wheels and tires only have around 5,000 miles on them. Shocks/struts feel good and there are no clunks or other noises. At 108,000 miles, this car received major service including new: timing chain guides, intermediate shaft (IMS) bearing, water pump, and battery. INTERIOR: Each and every power option in this car is working correctly. This includes all of the power windows, locks, audio, cruise control, convertible top, etc. The convertible top is newer and opens easily up, down, back, and forward with no abnormal noises. I’ve two-toned the interior with black accents (steering wheel, center console, etc.). The stereo sounds excellent. The car will come with one key/fob. The original window sticker (showing an $82,265 original price) along with lots of factory manuals/literature is also included. This is a great running car but it is a used vehicle and I’m a private seller, therefore, the buyer understands the vehicle is a used vehicle and is sold in “as-is” condition with no warranty. I’ve described the condition of the car based on my opinion. The vehicle is located in Goodyear, AZ and has a clean and clear title. Also, I’m continuing to drive this vehicle so the miles may be slightly higher than I have advertised.
