Vehicle Detail
I have owned the 300TD wagon vehicle since 1985. The car was originally the road side emergency service vehicle for RAB Motors in Marin CA. It has been a daily driver carting tools and materials to local job sites in a small one light town in central PA since 1990. I just replaced the ignition switch (11/15/2016) and replaced the transmission in 2010. The car proudly rides level as the self leveling system works but perhaps needs the accumulators replaced. A retired Mercedes factory trained mechanic has done all the work on the car since the early 90's. I'm placing a minimum of $1,000 as a starting bid and invite anyone locally to test drive the car. The car should go to a compadre 300 TD mechanic or someone willing to invest in a set of repairs that will keep the grey wagon on the road for future generations. Perfect for that "Surf Dad" in some beach town along the Eastern Shore Line. Happy bidding...I'll do my best to communicate what works, what doesn't, and all that.On Dec-27-16 at 10:33:12 PST, seller added the following information: Normal 0 false false false EN-US JA X-NONE I have owned the 300TD wagon vehicle since 1985. One more thing about the car; my wife sent a letter to Car Talk, which was read over the air in the summer of 2005. Everything in the narrative is true, however this time I promise I will not back down from selling the car. http://www.cartalk.com/content/mercedes-mid-life-crisis
