Vehicle Detail
This is a life-long California rig. It is extremely clean and runs excellent. This truck has been in the same family since it was purchased new from Concord Dodge in March of 1983. I believe it was purchased with every available option possible in 1983 (including California emissions). The paint looks great and has normal chips to be expected from a 33 year old vehicle. The interior looks just as nice with only minor wear (the passenger arm rest is warped and the lock button is missing on the center console). It is not a perfect show vehicle, but it looks better and runs better than 99.9% of Ramchargers out there. It has one seriously tall CB Antenna (you add your own CB!). It has both the Royal SE, and the Prospector packages. The pop up roof vent in the back works well. There has been $2500 worth of work done to it over the last six months. The following items were done: Front brake pads and rotorsRear brake drums and shoesMaster CylinderWater pumpOil ChangeBatteryFan ClutchFlush CoolantFront timing cover oil sealRebuilt carburetorSpark plugs, fuel filter, air filterTransmission fluid and serviceAC converted to R134A (it could use a new AC Compressor to make it colder)AC condenser and linesShocks on all 4 cornersTires balancedWindshield wipersTailgate lift struts In 2011 it got a rebuilt smog pump, rebuilt alternator, and a new voltage regulator. in 2002 (about 25,000 miles ago), the engine was completely rebuilt with a Comp Cams RV camshaft by Sheldust Engines. The tranny was overhauled by Brentwood Transmission at the same time. It also got a new radiator, the transfer case got new gaskets, new steering dampener, and complete new paint. That paint is now 14 years old, and the light blue upper portion does have some sun fading. Also, the paint on the upper driver door went on a little thin--so there are a few light rust dots. It is not bubbling (see last picture). The 4x4, AC, all lights, radio (although only the left side speaker works), and door locks (there are 2 sets of keys) all work like they should. The passenger power window needs a new motor. It always starts and has never left me stranded. It is located in Medford, Oregon on I-5, 30 miles north of the California border. It spent the first 33 years of its life in dry and sunny Oakley (not Oakland), California. It has a clear California title and has all California smog equipment necessary to pass smog. If you plan on registering it in California, there are likely some back fees as it has not been registered there since 2014. Remember this Ramcharger is nearly 34 years old and has a few dings, scratches, and general wear. It is also a Mopar product of the early 1980's. Even new--the build quality on this is nothing like your 2016 Toyota Camry--so don't expect it to be perfect. It is sold as-is, where-is with no warranty expressed or implied. It is being sold with no reserve--your bid is a contract to buy, not to come inspect it. $500 deposit due through Paypal within 24 hours of the auction ending. The rest should be via cash, US Postal Money orders, or a personal check from US Bank, Wells Fargo, or Umpqua Bank. Shipping is easy and I can help arrange that at your cost.
