More Cosmetic Restoration details:This Vintage Racing 1979 Was Cosmetically restored to look much more like a 1973 -74 -75 HONDA ELSINORE CR 125M "Tribute" that was made from a 1979 HONDA CR 125M ELSINORE.. (really the Biggest Difference between a 1973 & a 1977 CR 125 is the Suspension has been HUGELY Upgraded from HONDA) !!! & We also took her nearly ALL Apart & Cleaned & Restored Her Entire Chassis & also Cleaned the Entire Fuel system & added a Quality Inline Fuel Filter, & "We Installed The VERY BEST "MODAL" Trans Mission Oil". The Front and rear suspension visually looked good & it's Suspension seals did not appear to be leaking at this time so other than to clean them & refinished the lower Alloy fork legs , & exterior of the shocks etc etc etc (IE) as far as fluid levels etc. they are just as we received them and we have not tested the suspension as we are just now getting the Bike Running again & completing the cosmetic restoration on this Beautiful Bike, Again, We Purchased this & the other pictured Wonderful bike for a Static Display in our VJMC Clubs Booth at the "WORLDS LARGEST M/C Show On EARTH" We did a Very Nice cosmetic Restoration on her..However Again, at the last minute the show restricted our bikes from 11 to 10 & so being nearly identical only one of our 1973-4-5 CR 125M tribute bikes made it into the show. The three bikes were identical other than the paint color on the number panels and the blue painted springs one was a 1973 Tribute & the one in the show was a 1974 Tribute, & this auctions bike was a 1975 CR 125 ELSINORE Tribute ..In Her Cosmetic Restoration process..We removed most Every Main Component on the bike...nearly all the way down to her "Bare Frame" + Cleaned & refinished most every main component then hand re-assembled ~every main item back onto her frame again "Piece by Piece".. She has her Original 125cc HONDA ELSINORE "ALUMINUM" fuel Tank with more 1975 Style HONDA ELSINORE Graphics that was extremely clean & Dent free on her outside was REALLY CLEAN & no rust or oxidation etc..(as You should be able to see in the included pictures) we repainted her & put Nice 1973.4,5 Style Graphics & she looks a lot more like a 1973-4-5 CR 125M HONDA ELSINORE & added Brand New "VINTAGE" 1973-4-5 HONDA ELSINORE Tank Graphic's were just installed. We also cleaned, painted & refinished Her; Frame, Hubs, Spokes, Exhaust Pipe (Tuned Exhaust system) & she looks to have Her HONDA ELSINORE CR 125 R Exhaust System. We repainted her Nice more 1973-4-5 style paint work on her more earlier style Front fender & her reconfigured Honda Elsinore fender at her rear etc.& we painted everything to match to a look very close to what I think a 1973-74-5 Vintage RACING CR 125M Tribute Built from a 1979 CR 125 ELSINORE Race bike should look like & or would have looked NEW like back in the day ! . We installed Brand New High Quality Vintage style rubber handlebar Hand Grips. Her Transmission Gears Shift GREAT, Her Clutch Releases & Grips GREAT !!! & her Brakes work & STOP well ..PLEASE NOTE: She is just coming out of a many (20+) year Dry Storage Important thing is the Clutch does Grip GREAT !. She has BRAND NEW Gear Box OIL "MODOL" which is said to be the Very Best Gear Transmission Oil you can get) She has her Original Fork Tube Rubber Seals, She has almost "BRAND NEW" looking Vintage style Moto-Cross Racing handlebars. Unlike most dirt bikes this Beauty, ~40 year old TUNED Racing Exhaust system Looks GREAT ! Please Note: She Still has Her Original Factory HONDA ELSINORE Side Stand & She has updated Brand New Clutch & Front Brake levers have also been updated as were her AMAZING almost NEW High Quality Front & Rear Tires also.. (& Best of all She is not all of the typical Ugly faded red/orange..& keep in mind..Typically No color Fades as Badly as Red/Orange) ...Again, Most Vintage Racers would say this is the very Best of Both Worlds 1973-74-75 CR 125 LOOKs & 1979 FAR SUPERIOR Suspension + Stronger Chassis & Better Power !!!!!!!!!!! Therefore, would be something Better Suspension wise than a 1973-74 or 75 CR 125M ELSINORE & "FAR More Beautiful" than a ugly faded orange 1979 HONDA CR 125 ELSINORE !!!!!!!!!!! & Most enthusiasts feel these Early 1973-1977-8 CR's have much Better Balance & Natural Stability than the later more top heavy later CR 125's ....Again, if you truly need a perfectly 100% Stock Concourse vintage Racing Show bike ...you may want to please look elsewhere as I am not sure what all that would be about & again, this was NOT Built to be a 100% Perfectly stock concourse SHOW or 100% Original Concourse Bike etc....But, I can tell you ...
