Vehicle Detail

Real barn find or yard Find Hello up for auction 1970 Chevelle SS 396 350 horsepower 4 Speed 12-bolt posi rear I got this from a guy that bought it a couple years after it was new he drove it for a couple years somebody poured paint stripper on it he parked it in his backyard and there it has sat for the last 30 to 35 years Its original from the bumper to the bumper everything as far as I can tell is date code correct original with the car distributor carburetor alternator exhaust manifold tranny shifter even has the original shifter ball that's Chrome on the bottom and black on the top Most for Speed cars came with a console actually 90% of them 10% of 4 speed bucket seat cars did not have a console this has no console also this was a stripe delete it also has Factory power windows which I can't figure out it doesn't have tinted windows I have the original radiator needs to be record let me stress the car needs a full restoration the doors the floors the front and fenders rad support everything has rust and pretty much needs to be replaced but it is number matching front to back carPlease email with any questions I will be posting more pictures in the next day or two I'm in a wheelchair it's hard for me to get them but I will have somebody take them and I will post them in the next day or so of the motor of the interiorOn Nov-28-16 at 16:47:29 PST, seller added the following information: All right as I said I was going to put pictures on today which I did I don't want to anybody to get the wrong impression of this car I said it needs a full restoration it needs a full restoration now when I was checking the car out today I realize that it has plastic front wheel well liners there's one teeny little crack under the battery tray or where the battery tray goes other than that they're in very solid condition they don't seem brittle also I contacted the Chevelle registry and they backed me up with the numbers on the motor and the VIN tag and the trim tag it is a 70 SS 396 350 4 speed also I'm having a major problem with my email not getting to the people emailing me if you really want to talk to me I guess leave your phone number in your email and I'll call you On Nov-28-16 at 19:03:23 PST, seller added the following information: I wanted to add one other thing I've had people asking me if I have a build sheet well I do have a build sheet when I opened up the passenger's seat back it was in there I took it out it was for the car 4 cars before mine so I have a build sheet but it's for the car that was before me coming down the assembly line must have been a Friday or Monday LOL whoever ends up buying the car I'll give it to him or her . the other thing is I know the car looks rough but it is restorable and when you're done you have a 40 to $50,000 car On Dec-02-16 at 16:27:02 PST, seller added the following information: Hi and how is everybody tonight? wanted to give an update I checked the front wheel wells today and I made a mistake they are cracked that was my mistake I just looked i saw the little crack and didn't look at the outside of the wheel openings I apologize for that the other thing is the gentleman from the Chevelle registry pointed out to me that cowl hoods were the ones that came with the stripes automatically if it didn't have stripes on it that would be a stripe delete but this is not a cowl hood so Stripes would have been an option that's the way I understand it also I posted a picture of the shift knob And last but not least I've lowered the reserve I have progressive MS it's gotten to the point where I'm in a wheelchair full-time there's no way I'll ever be able to even start this car . I've had my 70 waiting to do it for quite awhile. I finished my 67 little while ago and I was getting ready to do the 70 and I just physically cannot do it so I have to sell it that is the only reason I'm selling this car if I was in Better Health I wouldn't be selling it thank you everybody
