This is a 1967 Pontiac GTO that has had a complete frame-off restoration. The engine is a balanced and blueprinted 455cid bored .030 over with Sealed Power pistons. It has a forged crank and two-piece rear main seal from BOP Engineering. New connecting rods with ARP bolts and GM balancer. Comp Cams 276 Roller camshaft/lifters and double roller chain and gears. The heads are 6X with mild porting that have been completely rebuilt with bronze guides and cc'ed at 92.6. This makes a compression ratio of 9.3 to 1. The motor runs well on premium pump gas at 92 octane. Comp Cams Magnum Steel Roller Tip Rockers (1.52 ratio) and High Energy pushrods. Edelbrock aluminum intake that has been gasket matched to the heads. Holley carburetor. Turbo 400 tranny w/ stall converter (2000 rpm). Hooker Super Comp ceramic coated headers and 2 ½” Flowmaster exhaust. All front end components have been replaced and has power front disc brakes. All lines are stainless steel. For the most part, everything on this car has been replaced with new and upgraded parts. The car has not been in the rain or spent the night out of the garage since completed in 2007.
