This is a very unusual W123 280E, with European specifications and many options not ever available on US W123 cars. Has ABS, Airbag, Heated Seats, Dual Horns, Orthopedic driver's seat, hydraulic self-leveling rear suspension, auxiliary gas heater. Car has been in CA since 1986 and has no rust anywhere. Paint is believed to be mostly original, except for right front fender. (Left fender dented in parking lot). Interior is in nearly perfect condition. Driver's seat amazingly shows almost no wear. Many many new parts on car including complete new exhaust system (MB parts) with replacement MB catalytic converter. Engine mounts, battery, spark plugs, wires, radiator, coolant hoses, Drive shaft rebuilt with new joints, bearing and flex couplings. Actual mileage is uncertain because original metric speedometer was replaced with US version during federalization and then this was replaced again with another metric version. Current non-op status in CA due to vapor leak in fuel system which needs to be tracked down. Car has brand new catalytic converter however. NOTE VIN OF CAR IS: WDB1230331A012709 (not the one listed above - which is from an unrelated car. EBay will not recognize the VIN of this 280E since it is a European Version). No reserve - car will sell. No badge on rear trunk lid - was an option to have it deleted. Car used very little during past year - two other cars. Rear self-leveling valve has oil leak - new seal kit is included with purchase. No warranty.
