Hello Everyone and Thanks for looking at my auction Up for Bid is a very clean 1937 Ford Pickup Truck This truck lived chino Ca for most of its life and per the previous owner who sold it to me. I am the third owner Something else has caught my eye and you can't keep em all I have driven this truck almost twice a week since I bought it It has a later 8BA Ford Flathead V8 that runs amazingly wellGreat power and torque and pulls this light chassis truck extremely efficiently at modern speeds I'm in socal and have absolutely no problem driving it on any of the major freeways Flatty is mated to a top loader 3 speeds manual that is super smooth and hooks up to an open drive rear It has juice brakes which I have rebuilt all around Stops as it should Drives as it shouldAnd the metal is probably one of the best I have seen Can't see any rust on this car at all and I'm sure it helps that it's been in socal its whole life split wish bones and it handles like a train on a trackThis truck being A 37 inspires confidence when you drive at highway speeds Since the frame is much beefier than the earlier trucksAmong all my cars and hot rodsThis drives the truest if that makes any sense I have aligned and set caster and toe. Just right New shocks Per the previous owner the Flathead was rebuilt and being its the later 8BA it has the thicker cylinder walls Great compressionHas a cool set of headers that look like a home brew from back in the day almost like deblonde style Dual glasspacksNew radial tires with chrome trim rings and steely wheels I consider this truck a done deal as is but lol that's relative All it needs is paint and interior and you are doneTurn key and ready to see mileage The seat seems to be newer but fits the proportions of the interior space very well Has original map light which makes this the deluxe model All glass is excellent and the windows roll up and down as they shouldThe front windshield crank works as it should Doors open and close with that Positive engagement all old car guys love Just did a fresh oil change and all stock gauges work as they shouldEven the original Mercury bulb for the temp works the speedo is.
