I have for sale a beautiful, all original, 1963 Plymouth Belvedere, This car is one owner, garage kept, and from what I was told, the original owner purchased it from the dealer in 1963. The car runs, drives and stops great! It has right around 97,000 miles on it. It looks like the spare tire in the trunk is original but don't quote me on that. The tires are great, interior is awesome, no rust, 318 V-8 Wedge motor, push button automatic transmission. I have been driving the car around the neighborhood, she has very good pick up, and yes she will burn a tire! Some stuff I noticed -I give the paint a C+ average, it has touch ups, and the clear coat is gone. -Couple of dents in the rear bumper. -Front wins shield is cracked. Well i could nit pick it all day, but it wont. Its a great first car, cruiser, or if you want, first project. Thank you Bid Away! On Nov-01-16 at 13:57:31 PDT, seller added the following information: THE ENGINE (its not a wedge) Just wanted clear up, to what I originally thought was a wedge engine, and to add a quick note about the engine really is. The engine is a very desirable A-series Polyshere, with hemi-like opposed intake and exhaust valves, but with a single rocker shaft per cylinder bank. (The hemi had two) That is why it is so wide and why the valve covers have that rip-saw pattern for the exhaust valves. More widely separated valves meant wider heads, straighter ports and better breathing. Chrysler made the "Poly" A-series engines from 1956 thru 1966 before changing the 318 to Wedge-head, inline valves, to save on space, weight and money. These poly 318's are now highly sought after.
