Vehicle Detail

Fuzzy Dice Autos Has up for auction a really special “old school” hot rod speed sled! This is a 1939 Ford Roadster 454, 2 four barrel carb recreation that was done in the very early 70’s. All but the steel hood is fiber glass and built on a 70’s Chevelle chassis. She’s got a Chevy 454 with two Holley Carbs, a 400 automatic turbo trans. 9” Ford rear, side pipes and a mild cam. Options include power windows, power doors and trunk release, tilt wheel, electric wipers, electric fuel pump, electric rear suspension, leather interior, “Carson” canvass hard top and rag top, after market gauge package, power seats and lots more! This is a really cool old time hot rod that looks, runs and drives beautifully. The hood is steel from a 39 Ford. The rest of the body is heavy gauge early fiber glass that’s held up wonderfully though the decades. Does of course show some typical blemishes and fading but still looks great. The rear semi slicks and front tires so little if any wear. The “Carson” rag top and “Carson” canvass covered hard tops are in great condition. The leather seats and interior held up very well. No tears nor blemishes. Carpeting and gauge package are also in fine condition. The underside is solid and rust free. No indication of past or present accident damage. Under the hood is maybe the best part of this monster. A 454 Big Block with the help of twin 4 barrels power this rocket ship. The 60’s engine detail still shows nicely. The car looks really neat when the hood is removed. She starts up on the first turn and roars down the highway. Eighths pedal is all one needs to realize the enormous power she puts out. The rod drives fast, smooth, loud, shifts easily and stops on a dime. So if you are looking for an “old school” hotrod that can be enjoyed on the street or the track, or saved for those cruise nights, than this baby is for you! Please don’t hesitate to contact us with questions and/or requests for additional information. Thanks for checking out this very special vehicle and the very best of luck bidding!
