DESCRIPTION For sale a 1987 Pontiac Fiero GT Fastback with 5 speed manual transmission. Excellent example of a low mileage Fiero GT. Comes with a clean and clear title. Registered till July 2017. Selling as is. Just passed California smog and is ready to go. If out of state buyer. Shipping paid by buyer. Selling at No Reserve!! Highest bidder takes it. Whatever that maybe. DETAILSENGINE 2.8 liter 6 cylinder motor. Starts right up on the first attempt and holds good idle. Just did fresh tune up with new spark plugs, new cap and rotor. Engine runs very strong. No over heating issues and fans work correctly. Just replaced fan relay to make sure. I would not hesitate to drive this car long distances. TRANSMISSION Factory 5 speed manual transmission. Clutch still grabs excellent, but I don't know if its ever been changed so I am assuming its still the original one. It shifts smoothly with no grinding or slipping issues. Just replaced the clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder. Replaced clutch pedal with brand new steel pedal to make sure no bending issues. Shifts excellent. INTERIOR Newly upholstered seats with Alcantara inserts with factory Fiero logo on the seats. Brand new excellent condition. Brand new headliner and sun visors. Carpet is in excellent condition and is clean. Dash does have minor cracks (please see below). PAINT AND BODY Original paint color of Medium Red Metallic. It does look to have been repainted at some point. Paint does have flaws ( see below). No accidents and original body panels. WHEELS AND TIRES Factory 15" cross lace wheels. Tires show very good tread. Approximately 80% left. ELECTRICAL AND ACCESSORIES Factory A/C system works perfectly. Ice cold. Power windows work great so do the mirrors. The drivers side mirror needs the mirror glass replaced. Glass sunroof is manually removable. All seat adjustments also work. The power rear deck release is not working and need to use key manually to open rear trunk. Rear deck lid spring is worn out so you need a prop rod or replace with new deck lid shock. Head lights work perfectly and all bulbs are working all around the car. All dash lights work. Temperature gauge works, but is off on starting location and starts on a higher setting (see below for cold setting). All gauges work. CD player works as does the stereo tuner. EXHAUST Original factory exhaust system in great shape. Just replaced with new catalytic converter.SUSPENSION AND BRAKES All original suspension with still good ride. Front and rear brakes around 30-40% left of pad wear.
