This 1994 Ford F-150 pick up Full Bed has been in my family since the mid '90s. My step father owned it in Reno, Nevada ( so minimal rust ) until it was given to me 4 years ago. I had it shipped from Reno to Chicago by flat bed truck. I drove it for a few years back and forth to work until my wife and I had a baby. Since this truck is a single cab, I had to find another vehicle that could hold a baby seat. Since then I have had it parked, but I would start it and drive it around every 4 months or so. With a few repairs, this truck could be a great vehicle. The engine runs great. Some serious problems. I have changed all the vacuum hoses and put a new battery in 2 weeks ago. It had some idle problems, so I put a new IAC solenoid in a week ago and it seemed to help, but the idle still runs high once in a while. I'm guessing its a vacuum leak or worst case scenario, it might need a Throttle Position Sensor, which runs about $30.00. I put new tires on it before I stopped driving it, so they are in great condition. I discovered a small fuel leak coming from the fuel filter attached to the frame but is easily fixable by changing the filter and some new connecters. The brakes are in need of replacement all around. Other than that, it's what you would expect from a 22-year-old truck. If you like to work on vehicles and know your way around an engine, this truck could last a long time.
