NO RESERVE!!! JEEP WILL GO TO HIGHEST BIDDER!! Here's your chance at a nice 1974 Jeep J10, with a CLEAN California title in MY name...(currently on a "non-op status"..so NO back fees due in California..). I am simply overwhelmed with too many projects, so my loss is your gain!... This truck is in great shape for it's age, it has been my weekend project for couple of years, but due to unforeseen circumstances i am putting it up for sale. If you are looking at this truck, then you obviously know you are not getting a new truck, and are hopefully familiar with the classic Jeep trucks..this one has rust spots in all the usual spots..mainly the bed..i have done as much work as my skill level allows..truck looks good. Runs good..has usual non working fuel gauge, the temp gauge works, has the "1 wire gm alternator" conversion done, gauges are weak point, i have no more time to dial in, and have many jeeps so i am used to no gauges, but letting bidders know! ANY questions contact me! Biggest weak points would be the bed, and gauges, heater controls, etc....nothing horrible..i'm just picky..(see pics)..truck is far from "perfect"..obviously..bidders should know this, and bid accordingly! It needs a few small items to dial it in..such as interior dash needs a stereo..(but i left in uncut condition), tailgate in good shape..i repaired the spots needed..looks good, i repaired the usual trouble spots on bed..bed has dents in it, (i placed a board in back and put a $100 heavy duty rubber mat on top..herculined the bed.) The quadratrac chain NOT sloppy..i measured the slack and it is under the max tolerance...so no problem there! Jeep has typical small leak under transfer case..but BARELY. I installed new oil and tranny pans..those don't leak. New oil pickup tube, and dipstick tube all installed at same time..All lights are functional, blinkers work/etc., i put clear turn signals on front..painted stock bumpers white..has all new door seals and window seal kit.. new windshield and seal! Rear slider window works and slides great...the lock even works! (metal clasp style!)..put new door locks on it..new door keys. Has original headliner in it..(i painted it red, also put sound proof insulation on ceiling under headliner..made a BIG difference in noise levels)...On and on...i'm sure i'm forgetting more i did! feel free to ask... Buyer to arrange all shipping and/or local pick up...i will assist in loading truck on trailer, BUT buyer to handle ALL the shipping arrangements! Has over $1500 into the (4) brand new 33'' Goodyear Duratracs A/T tires..(barely 75 miles put on them!), and new Cragar white steel rims!...also has a 2.5'' rancho lift, new rancho 5000 shocks (4), extended stainless steel braided brake lines all around, new Thrush Dynomax dual exhaust system, Hedman headers, has the EDELBROCK carburetor, K&N style air filter and housing, and the EDELBROCK performer intake upgrade already done!!...I also upgraded to electronic ignition with the ever popular "TFI ignition upgrade"..new "big" style cap and rotor, new Accel 8mm spark plug wires, TFI ignition coil, and module..installed a hood insulation kit, new door panels, bench seat/cover, stock radio..(needs speakers but i didn't want to cut panels in doors..so new owner can decide on stereo system..dash currently uncut!), new power steering box, flex fan (no shroud), brand new front brake rotors, calipers and pads..new drum brakes in rear...new wheel studs and lug nuts...new radiator hoses, heater hoses, belts, plugs...on and on...this truck is smog exempt in Commiefornia, title in hand..ready to go. I have ALL my receipts for thousands of dollars in parts i have spent in last 2.5 years of working on this truck i swore i'd NEVER sell...hate to see it go..but it's time...relocating...(IF truck doesn't sell..i will be taking it to midwest with me and put it in my pole barn...so here's your chance!;) SERIOUS bidders only please..if zero feedback..please contact me BEFORE bidding..i have sold vehicles here before smoothly...i WILL be requiring a non-refundable deposit of $500..remainder to be paid as agreed between buyer and i after auction end...(i have had great success using certified bank money orders or wire transfers...i am flexible...willing to work with the right buyer!..absolutely NO scams, etc..) ANY questions or need more pics..let me know!Thanks all! *I do not want to sound rude in my description of this truck-i just want everyone interested in it to hopefully understand it's a 40 year old truck...not gonna be your hop in and drive to the mall truck...it is NOT a complete project..just needs some dialing in of a few items, and put your own twist on it..i did most of the big stuff..compression on all 8 cylinders strong..well within specs, runs good..exhaust is a good throaty sound..but NOT annoying loud!
